Shopping for multiple people is annoying. From figuring out everyone's individual shopping list to poring over the receipt with a calculator, it can be quite the headache.
That's why we created GroceryMule, a mobile app that makes it easier to shop for yourself and others.
Our goal is to save you the time and hassle of group-shopping so you can spend your time on what really matters.
GroceryMule allows you to make collaborative shopping lists and conveniently request payment from others with accurate totals, all from a single app.
After creating an account, you can add friends and invite them to shopping trips as beneficiaries. Anyone can add items to the list or modify personal counts of each item, updating the list synchronously for the list owner.
On the day of the shopping trip, you can lock the list, preventing others from adding items. After you're finished shopping, simply scan the receipt and match prices to items before sending out automatically calculated subtotals to beneficiaries.
Prafull is currently a SWE Intern at Dell Technologies. Graduating in Spring 2023, Prafull is a computer science major at UW-Madison. Prafull's extracurricular passions include trying new restaurants, hiking, and freestyling.
